Woof & Sip, Wirral

Project Description

This project involved transforming a former estate agent’s office in the Wirral into Woof & Sip, a welcoming dog grooming salon combined with a boutique coffee shop. Our role covered the full architectural package, from securing the change of use through to the detailed internal reconfiguration required to accommodate two distinct yet complementary functions within a compact commercial unit.

The design introduces a clean, modern layout featuring dedicated grooming areas, safe and controlled circulation routes for dogs and owners, and a comfortable café space positioned at the frontage. Careful spatial planning ensures both sides of the business operate smoothly, with appropriate ventilation, acoustic measures, and service zones discreetly integrated into the overall scheme.

By reimagining a traditional office unit, the project brings new character and energy to the local high street. The result is a unique, pet-friendly destination that serves the community as both a specialist grooming facility and a relaxed neighbourhood café. Woof & Sip is now a vibrant addition to the area, successfully blending functionality, atmosphere, and thoughtful design.
