Red House Farm
Project Description
Our project at Red House Farm centres on replacing an outdated bungalow with a carefully designed family home that enhances both the site and its wider rural Green Belt setting. The proposed dwelling draws inspiration from traditional country architecture, introducing a beautifully proportioned home with warm brickwork, elegant detailing and a strong sense of symmetry.
Internally, the layout provides generous living spaces that embrace natural light and frame long views across the surrounding landscape. Large openings, thoughtful positioning of key rooms and a calm, coordinated material palette help to create a refined and uplifting atmosphere throughout the home.
By blending timeless character with modern performance and comfort, the replacement dwelling delivers a substantial uplift in quality while remaining sensitive to the site’s countryside context and long-established residential use. The result is a home that feels rooted in its setting, yet aligned with contemporary expectations for space, efficiency and family living.
