Blackwood Avenue
Project Description
A tired 1930s detached house in the heart of Woolton, transformed into a generous contemporary family home, without losing the character that defines the street.
The scheme combines a full-width rear extension with a two-storey side addition, significantly increasing the footprint while keeping a considered relationship with the original building. Wide-span glazed openings draw the garden into the living spaces, warm brickwork ties the new to the old, and dark-framed windows give the design a clean contemporary edge.
Internally, the remodelled layout delivers well-proportioned family living across both floors, better circulation, better light, and a material palette that feels considered rather than generic.
