Our clients in Crosby were looking to create a larger and more flexible living space that could grow with their family. We designed a spacious single-storey rear extension that reshapes the ground floor into a bright, open-plan hub tailored for modern family life.

The new layout accommodates a contemporary kitchen with a central island, a well-defined dining area and a cosy snug — all positioned to encourage connection and ease of movement throughout the home. This open configuration supports both everyday routines and larger social gatherings.

A large roof lantern is positioned to draw natural light deep into the interior, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere across the day. Expansive glazing to the rear enhances the relationship with the garden, strengthening the visual and physical link to the outdoors.

The result is a well-balanced extension that not only provides the additional space the family needed but also significantly improves the overall flow, functionality and feel of the home. The transformation brings clarity, comfort and a renewed sense of openness to this much-loved family property.
