A Major Milestone: Crewe Road Is Now Watertight
Our Crewe Road project has reached a major milestone this month, with the building now officially watertight. This moment marks the shift from external construction to the start of detailed internal work - a point where the architecture begins to reveal its true character.
Securing the envelope has also allowed the front elevation’s large feature glazing to be fully appreciated. This bespoke opening will form one of the project’s key architectural statements, framing views, drawing natural light deep into the plan, and establishing a strong visual identity for the home.
With the structure now sealed from the elements, work is progressing on the internal volumes that define the scheme. The double-height snug space to the rear is taking shape, creating a dramatic yet intimate area that anchors the living spaces. Alongside this, the double-height entrance hall is beginning to form its full sense of scale - a generous, airy arrival point that sets the tone for the rest of the interior.
As we move through the next phase, first fix installations, internal partitions, and material layers will start to bring the full design to life. We look forward to sharing the next steps as Crewe Road continues to evolve.
