Three award nominations for Baltik in 2026
Shortlisted at the YM Liverpool Property & Business Awards and the Grafters Awards, for the practice, for The Coach House and for George.
2026 has been a big year for Baltik. We've been recognised across two awards programmes, with three nominations for the practice, one for our work at The Coach House and one for George personally.
YM Liverpool Property & Business Awards 2026
- Architectural Practice of the Year: Baltik has been shortlisted for the second year running, after first making the shortlist in 2025.
- Best Small New Home Development: The Coach House in Mossley Hill, a Victorian coach house conversion we took over after the build had stalled.
- Young Business Leader (Under 35): George Barr has been shortlisted in his own right.
Grafters Awards 2026
- Best Architectural Practice
- Best Boutique Architectural Practice
What it means to us
Baltik started in 2022 in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle, built from scratch with no client base. We deliberately keep the practice small: residential only, director-led, and taking on a limited number of commissions so every project gets proper attention.
Being recognised alongside much larger practices is a real reflection of our clients, who trusted us with their homes, and of the builders and consultants we work with on site. Thank you to everyone involved.
